Tam Duc Hospital receives third-class Labor Medal

On behalf of the State President, Secretary of Party Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Le Thanh Hai offered third-class Labor Medal to the Tam Duc Cardiology Hospital on July 12.

The hospital has put into operation in Ho Chi Minh City since March, 2006. There are 300 sick beds for patients with installing brand new equipments, five cardiology departments and 500 highly- qualified doctors, nurses.

After eight years of operation, Tam Duc Hospital has assisted free surgery to 4,500 heart patients.

Hundreds of thousands of heart patients were treated successfully in the hospital, including 6,000 outpatients, 300,000 inpatients and over 20,000 patients in casualty department.

Deputy Chairman of the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Hua Ngoc Thuan appreciated highly achievements, contributions of staffs, doctors and nurses of the hospital in assisting poor patients.

Tam Duc deserved as one of the city’s leading hospitals in heart treatment as well as social activities, added Chairman Thuan.
