Meanwhile the national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines (VNA) has cancelled more 12 flights between Hanoi/HCM City and Vinh/Dong Hoi/Thanh Hoa. The company has stopped exploiting a total number of 30 flights and re-timed 50 flights because of the bad weather.
The low-cost carrier Vietjet Air is also canceling 28 flight arrivals and departures from aiports in the Central region.
According to reports, around 11,500 travelers have been affected by flight cancellations as the typhoon Doksuri was moving towards the Central region.
