Vietnamese President Tran Dai Quang attended in an opening ceremony of the Truong Yen Traditional Festival 2016 at Hoa Lu historical site of Ninh Binh province on April 15.
Before the opening ceremony, Preident Tran Dai Quang paid incenses at the temple of Dinh Tien Hoang and Le Dai Hanh King.
The 2016 Truong Yen Traditional Festival is taking place on April 15- 17, marking the 1, 048th anniversary of Dinh Bo Linh King enthroned emperor.
Within the framework of the three day festival, series of attractive activities also will be held such as calligraphy exhibition, chess game, folk games, traditional cultural activities and others.
On the occasion, on behalf of Party, Government, Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue granted a decision to recognize post of Buddhist scriptures at Nhat Tru Pagoda as the National precious object.
