Russian beauties travel to Vietnam for social activities and charity

Miss Russia said that she was very excited to visit Vietnam, calling it a beautiful country, adding that the people are so friendly, self-confident and dynamic.

The model is eager to take part in a cookery course on June 4 together with Miss Vietnam 2006 Mai Phuong Thuy, models Ha Anh, Thuy Hanh and Xuan Lan, and singers Hien Thuc and Phuong Vy. She hopes to cook Vietnamese dishes for her relatives when she returns home.

“I have several close friends. I always think of my mother who I can share all my life problems with” said the young Russian lady.

I often relax by playing piano, she added.

Irina Antonenko said that English is her weak point. She is interested in learning English for this year’s Miss World competition, scheduled to take place in October.

The Russian beauties will visit various destinations within Ho Chi Minh City, as well as participate in a fashion photo-shoot and show on June 5.

They will leave the city for Hanoi on June 6 and fly to Singapore on June 7 for more social activities and charity work to benefit Asia.
