PM Dung receives French NA's Foreign Affairs Committee Chairwoman

Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung had a meeting with the French National Assembly's Foreign Affairs Committee Chairwoman Elisabeth Guigou at Government Headquarter yesterday evening on the occasion of her visit to Vietnam.

The PM affirmed both Vietnam and France are looking to elevate further their strategic partnership relations in all sectors in order to bring benefits for two sides.

PM Dung also expressed his desire that France will impulse ratification of Partnership and Cooperation Agreement (PCA) between Vietnam and the EU and the signing of the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA).

Mrs. Elisabeth Guigou affirmed the relations between France and Vietnam have developed strong in accordance with both historical and political foundation.

She said that French President appreciated Vietnam’s visit to the 21st Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP21) as well as outstanding contributions of Vietnam for the success of the COP 21. French President will plan to visit Vietnam next year.
