Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has approved a plan of building a tourism, service and amusement complex including casino in Phu Quoc island district, according to an announcement from the Government Office yesterday.
The Prime Minister asked the Ministry of Planning and Investment to work with Kien Giang province People’s Committee to study and acquire opinions from ministries and relevant agencies on the project.
Basing on the PM requirement the Ministry of Planning and Investment will guide the project establishment in accordance with Government’s regulations. The Ministry will then report a draft project to the PM after the Government issues a decree on casino business.
