Monument of 1015, 1049 historical sites inaugurated in Kon Tum

The 320 Regiment of the 3rd Corps under the Vietnam People’s Army and the People’s Committee of the central highlands province of Kon Tum inaugurated a monument of the Hill 1015 designated "Charlie"and the Hill 1049 called “Delta” on May 12.

The historical site aims to commemorate fallen soldiers in fightings to capture the Hill 1015 and 1049 for the Dak To- Tan Canh liberation campaign in April, 1972 by the 320A Regiment.
The monument covering an area of 300 m2 in Ro Koi commune, Sa Thay district was built in December, 2017 at a total capital of VND2 billion. The fund mainly was donated by war veterans.
