The public service portal will allow residents and enterprises to submit their documents online easily as well as search the status of their administrative procedures without coming to relevant agencies' headquaters.
Moreover, people and businesses can supervise the quality of public services openly and transparently, through feedback and evaluation of their administrative procedures.
Speaking at the event, Health Minister Nguyen Thi Kim Tien said that the public portal plays a vital role in administrative reform, e-government building efforts as well as transparency of State agencies' activities.
In addition, she said, the portal will help improving and simplifying administrative procedure to gradually improve public services and save money because state agencies just focus management on system only.
Under the government’s guideline, the Ministry will promote technology applications in its field activity management to improve the efficiency of the quality management with the aim to gain residents and enterprises’ satisfaction, said Ms. Tien.
At present, the Ministry of Health is one of the three ministries pioneering in connecting its public service portals to the National Public Service Portal and portals of others ministries and local administrations.
The health ministry’s public service portal will also be connected to the Ministry of Health's electronic one-stop information system, the National Single Gate Portal and provincial Single Gate Portals across the country in the upcoming time.
