The Ministry of Construction clarifies that they do not approve a VND 100 trillion (US $4.74 billion) credit package for assisting the real estate market, said spokesman Do Duc Duy on February 24 after a recent confusion with the media.
The Government has not appointed the ministry to study the project in 2014, said Duy.
The ministry is currently working with local authorities to find solutions to the collapsing real estate market. These solutions will be closely monitored by the government’s national housing development strategy.
