Lac Hong University wins National Robocon Contest

The final round of National Robocon Contest 2013 under the theme ‘Blue Planet’ ended at the Tuyen Son sports stadium in Da Nang City on May 12 after one week.

Lac Hong University was declared the final winner of the National Robocon Contest.

The final round between eight of the best teams including three teams from Lac Hong University, two teams from Duy Tan University and three teams from Vinh Phuc Economic Technical College, Sao Do University, Bach Khoa University in Da Nang City brought about much excitement among the audience.

The last round was a tough competition between two teams LH-See and LH-NVN EAGLE from Lac Hong University. The Robocon team LH-See from Lac Hong University won the 2013 National Robocon Contest because of brilliant technique and rhythmic combination between automatic robot and control robot.

The second prize went to the Robocon team LH-NVN EAGLE from Lac Hong University. The third prize went to the Robocon team BKD-BTC from Bach Khoa University in Da Nang City and team LH-ET from Lac Hong University.

Accordingly, team LH- See and LH-NVN EAGLE from Lac Hong University will represent Vietnam at the Asia Pacific Robocon contest to be held in August in Da Nang City.

In related news, Phan Tung Mau, Vice President of Scientific and Technical Union, and head of Vietnam delegation attended the International Exhibition for Young Inventors Contest (IEYI 2013) and Asian Young Inventors Exhibition (AYIE) in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) returned to Hanoi on May 12.

In the second contest, Vietnam Group had nine inventions that were selected from the best top inventions in the fields of environmental protection, information technology, green energy, education and entertainment, and traffic. The Vietnam Group won seven gold medals and two silver medals.
