Korean music artist Baek Ji Young will be a judge for “Lotte VK Pop Super Star” in Hanoi on February 24-28.
Also joining the panel of judges are singer Phuong Thanh, choreographer John Huy Tran and local judges. Korean experts will be training the contestants.
I want to find talent in Vietnam and help contestants find their strong and weak points, said Young.
She started her career in 1999 and has since performed songs featured in television dramas.
Famous albums released are Sorrow, Smile Again, and Sensibility. She was also a judge in the Voice of Korea television show.
The “Lotte VK Pop Super Star” singing contest is organized by Vietnam Television and its local and Korean partners. The show will be aired on VTV3 channel starting March 15.
