Japanese traditional drum troupe, ‘Osuwadaiko’, will give a performance in Hanoi and Hoi An from August 22-26.

The Japanese drum ensemble will offer Vietnamese audiences a musical feast with a diversity of drums like a classical orchestra.

One of their highlight performances is ‘Ashura’ which tells about a god, the guardian deity of Buddhism having three faces and six arms as in Indian fairy-tales.

The ‘Osuwadaiko’ troupe participated in the 1st International Tea Festival in Thai Nguyen Province in 2011. During this visit, they will take part in the Hoi An-Japan Festival 2012 from August 24-26.
