Investment attraction increases in Central Highlands

The Central Highlands Steering Committee yesterday reported that investment capital in the region hit VND54 trillion (US$2.53 billion) last year, an increase of 12 percent against the previous year.

Last year, provinces in the Central Highlands granted investment certificates to 103 projects at a total capital of VND15 trillion and 11 foreign direct investment projects at US$871 million.

State budget revenue in the region exceeded VND16 trillion (US$752 million). Of these Lam Dong province contributed VND6 trillion, Dak Nong VND1.3 trillion, Kon Tum VND2 trillion, Dak Lak and Gia Lai province VND3.3 trillion.
