Crescent Mall, the city’s first modern shopping complex of international standards, opened in Phu My Hung on January 6.
The shopping complex, built by the Phu My Hung Joint Venture Company at a cost of VND2.31 trillion (US$110 million), has six stories and three basements providing an area of 45,000 square meters of retail space.
According to Tseng Fan Chih, general director of the Phu My Hung Joint Venture Company, this is their first venture into construction of a retail market.
The complex has already attracted 113 contracts for leasing of shops of which 13 are of world famous brands. More than 90 shops have opened to business including, Giant Supermarket; Megastar’s eight-cinema multiplex; Bamboo Catering; Happy 100 leisure center; and Cho Lon Electrical Accessory Supermarket.
