The internationally qualified centers have 50 rooms to receive 3,000 patients a day.
The first facility is located in 567 Binh Duong Boulevard in Thu Dau Mot Town of Binh Duong province while the second one is located in 184 Le Dai Hanh Street, Ho Chi Minh City’s district 11.
They have various kinds of domestically-made and internationally-made vaccines to satisfy patients’ demand.
At the opening ceremony, Head of the Preventive Medicine Department Professor Tran Dac Phu said that for years, diseases have developed unpredictably; worse, dengue, measles and influenza are threatening to people’s health.
Annually, many Vietnamese babies are born and several of them don’t receive full vaccination due to shortage of vaccine.
Accordingly, the Ministry encourages to open more vaccine centers to meet increasing demand.
The opening of the two immunization centers for kids and adults is considered as a breakthrough in preventive medicine field helping people access to vaccination easily.
