Hollywood directors to hold lectures in HCMC

Vietnamese filmmakers will have a chance to share their experience in making action movies from well-known Hollywood film directors David Worth, John Ford, George Stevens, Tony Scott and Alfonso Cuaron in Ho Chi Minh City on June 22, 23 and 24.

Vietnamese filmmakers will have a chance to share their experience in making action movies from well-known Hollywood film directors David Worth, John Ford, George Stevens, Tony Scott and Alfonso Cuaron in Ho Chi Minh City on June 22, 23 and 24.

David Worth has built a brilliant career as a director of photography. He became famous through movies like Kick boxer, Lady Dragon 2, Mid-Knight Ride, Chain of Command, Time Lap, The Prophet’s Game, Shark Attack II , Shark Attack III, Any Which Way You Can (starring Clint Eastwood).

The director currently teaches at the Chapman University, UCLA, and the Academy of Art University (San Francisco). His published books include ‘The Citizen Kane Crash Course in Cinematography’ and ‘Milestone in Cinema-50 Visionary Directors’.

The directors will speak at the Institute of Cultural Exchange of France (IDECAF) in Ho Chi Minh City on June 22, 23 and 24.
