HCMC traffic safety board encourages helmet donation

The Traffic Safety Steering Board under the People’s Committee in Ho Chi Minh City has sent its document of a program to call for helmet donation.

The program aims to call for contribution of organizations and individuals in giving helmets in order to raise the rate of people wearing standard helmets, especially children. Accordingly, it hopes to reduce traffic accidents in upcoming time.

Group of children aged from 6 to 17 do not have high quality helmets and adults living in HCMC whose economic condition are on poverty line or close that can not afford a standard helmets.

Local administrations in district should list these people to send to the steering board. Helmet donors and steering board will hold ceremony to give standard helmets to children and adults in the lists.

Helmets should be sent to headquarter of the steering board at 63 Ly Tu Trong , Ben Nghe Ward in district 1 or call 0838223359 or 0903735935.
