HCMC Traffic Police handles 1,060 violation cases a single day

On the first day of the peak month on crime suppression before and during the upcoming Tet holiday, the traffic police of Ho Chi Minh City handled 1,060 violation cases with fines of more than VND2 billion (US$81,000), seized nearly 320 vehicles, revoked 229 driver’s licenses and so on.
The Ho Chi Minh City Road – Railway Traffic Police Division (PC08) under the municipal Department of Public Security has just informed the above-mentioned data.

The PC08 said that during the peak month, the unit will proactively grasp the situation, promptly prevent and strictly handle the cases of gathering causing public disorder, illegal racing and so on to ensure the transportation activities and entertainment needs of the people during the year-end holidays.
