Around 15 street food stalls are open to the public, especially foreign visitors from 6:00 – 9:00 am and 11am to 2pm. Food carts offer a wide range of dishes and drinks meeting the requirements for food hygiene and safety.
The project of vendors’ food area is launched by the People’s Committee of District 1, aiming at assisting vendors to continue their means of living in accordance with the law and restoring order to sidewalks across the district.
The first street food zone that was launched on the sidewalks of Nguyen Van Chiem street in District 1 on August 28 received many positive feedback.
