The event aims to introduce to local and international visitors the cultural values, and the lasting and vehement vitality of ethnic minority people in the central highland region.

This year’s event themed ‘Central Highland-Cultural Colors’ will include a series of cultural activities such as exhibitions and performances of traditional costumes, traditional musical instruments, ritual ceremonies, and folk games.

The event also honors the Central Highlands’ gong culture -- the most famous heritage that has been recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

The program also marks the 67th anniversary of August Revolution and National Day (September 2).
