Various activities are being planned to mark the anniversary of August Revolution and National Independence Day on September 2 in Hoan Kiem District in Hanoi.
From July 26 to August 30 many traditional handicraft products will be displayed to honor the tangible and intangible cultural heritages and customs, religions, and traditions of ancient Hanoians.
In Dong Lac Communal House on 38 Hang Dao Street, the organizers will introduce products of Nhi Khe and To Tich handicraft villages. In Kim Ngan Communal House on 42-44 Hang Bac Street, handicraft items made from rattan, bamboo and leaves and manufactured by the Phu Vinh Company in My Chuong District will be displayed.
Lacquer products as well as home decoration items of ancient Hanoians will be presented at Hanoi ancient house at 87 Ma May Street.
