Gasoline companies hiked fuel prices by VND450 per liter on January 14.
The new pump prices of A92 and A95 are VND16,400 and 16,450.
Diesel, kerosene, and fuel oil 3.5S prices are up by VND300, and fuel oil 3S by VND400.
But oil companies said despite the price hike they would lose VND900 on a liter of gasoline and nearly VND1,000 on oil because of the high global prices of fuel.
They said gasoline has been traded at US$80-82 per barrel in Singapore for the last 30 days.
