As planned, the Nguyen Hue walking street will be turned into a 670m-long catwalk for fashion shows. About 300 models will present collections by 40 Vietnamese and international designers
More than 100 domestic garment-textile businesses will participate in the event that is expected to attract over 500,000 visitors.
The event will also include shopping area, exhibition, dance performance with real-time 3D facial projection mapping, spectacular water music performance and more.
The municipal authorities hope the festival will become an annual tourism event to draw more domestic and foreign tourists to HCM City
