The exhibits made of various materials, such as silk, acrylic, lacquer, wood, metal , composite and other on a variety of subjects, describing specific cultures of the Mekong Delta.
The Vietnam Fine Arts Association Awards were presented to outstanding works at the display’s opening ceremony. The contest organizing committee said there was no first prize winner. There were two B prizes which went to Ta Thi Anh Hong for her work titled “Mat Thuyen” (Boat’s eyes) and Nguyen Huu Thien for his work “Ve dich” (Reaching the finish line). The organizer also awarded one C prize for Phan Tieng for the art work “Mua com que toi” (The season of green sticky rice) and presented six enouragement prizes.
In the category of the Mekong Delta Fine Arts Awards, the organizer granted the first prize to Tran Thi Ngoc Huong for her work “Thoi dai so” (The digital age), two second prizes, three third prizes and seven encouragement prizes.
The exhibition runs until September 15.
