The event display artworks created by 13 artists from Asia-Pacific and the Middle East tell stories about the multiculturalism in their countries through sculptures.The unique artworks of the exhibition reflect multicultural trends influencing daily lives and society in thought-provoking ways on the whole spectrum.
The young artists under the age of 30 come from Australia, China, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, and United Arab Emirates. They express their views and feelings about multiculturalism through their art work.
Female artist Lap Phuong with the art piece “Peaceful Birth” represents Vietnam at the event.
The artworks were made from production materials used by Kohler, a leader in kitchen and bath products manufacturer.
Aside from the “Multiculturalism” exhibition, Kohler also displays the Sartorial pattern inspired by haberdashery fabrics, showcased on the Carillon vessel sink which belongs to the Artist Edition.
The exhibition runs until August 17.
