Uncle Ho's Stilt House in Ho Chi Minh Presidential Palace designed by architect Nguyen Van Ninh was built in 1958. The work took one month to complete to mark the 68th birth anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh on May 17, 1958.
The house has two floors. Uncle Ho used the ground floor as a sitting-room to receive visitors and to meet with the Political Bureau. The floor above includes a working room and a bedroom. President Ho Chi Minh lived and worked in here until passed away in 1969.
