Devotion Music Awards 2017 honor best artists and works of year

The award ceremony of the 12th annual event of its kind was held at Ho Chi Minh City Opera House on April 25.

The “Video of the Year” award went to the music video “Bong Bong Bang Bang” performed by the 365 band.

Le Thien Hieu received the “Song of the Year” prize for his work, Ong ba anh “My grandparents”. Singer Hoang Rob got the title “Young artist of the Year”.
Singer Ha Tran received the “Album of the Year” award for her album Ban nguyen (The origin).

Pop star Noo Phuoc Thinh won the “Singer of the Year” for his all his activities and accomplishments during the year.

The “Program of the Year” belonged to the first season of Vietnamese version of the reality talent show, Sing My Song.

The “Concert of the Year” was presented to the live performance featuring the rock band, Buc Tuong (The Wall) and its founder, composer and vocal Tran Lap. The event called “Fire lighting hands” aims to encourage musician Tran Lap to fight cancer as well as raise fund for disadvantaged artists throughout the country.

Devotion Music Awards is an annual event which is organized by the Sports and Culture Newspaper. Award winners are selected by journalists from different newspapers and magazines throughout the country.
