The first kite festival under theme of “Coloring Da Nang” took place at My Khe beach in Son Tra district of Da Nang city on August 28.
The event is a part of activities to mark the 71st anniversary of Vietnam’s National Day on September 2 which was jointly organized by the Da Nang Center for Events and Festivals Organization.
The first kite festival attracted the participation of more than 100 colorful kites from kite clubs of Hue, Hoi An, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang.
Within the framework of the event, exhibition of colorful kite, lanterns and sand paintings designed by artisans from Da Nang, Hue, Hoi An and Ho Chi Minh City, folk games etc etc...
