The People’s Committee in the central city of Da Nang has decided to give top priority to single women, needy persons and disadvantaged people in matters relating to renting an apartment and providing accommodation.

In addition, Da Nang City will sell apartments to employees of state-run agencies and companies, who are in dire need of accommodation, under deferred payment.

Employees will hence pay 50 per cent as down payment for the apartment and the remaining 50 per cent will be spread as installments over a 10 year period.

People who are not state employees and have need of accommodation, can buy a small independent house by installments spread over a 10-20 year period.
