The ‘Raices Profundas’ Deep Roots, one of the most famous dancing troupes from Cuba will perform in Vietnam from April 19-22, according to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Founded in 1974, the ‘Raices Profundas’ Deep Roots is a very well renowned dance company in Cuba, and known throughout the world.
The group has performed in many countries such as France, Switzerland, Belgium, Germany, the UK, Japan, Nicaragua, Venezuela, Mexico, Italy, South Africa and Jamaica.
Music lovers will have a chance to travel back in time with their dances and rhythms from the African and Cuban cultures since colonial times and the introduction of black slaves to the island.
The Cuban folk dance company will present a variety show with dances including the Rumba, Danzon, Cha-Cha-Cha, Mambo, Bolero and Salsa Casino.
The performance will take place at the Hanoi Opera House on April 20 and the Military Theatre in Hanoi on April 21.
