The index was up 9.13 percent from a year earlier and 7.84 percent from last December.
All 11 groups of commodities in the city experienced price hikes compared to October.
The biggest price increase was seen in food and restaurant service, up 2.76 percent, followed by other goods and services up 2.12 percent and housing-electricity-fuel and construction material group up 1.74 percent.
Medicine and health care services increased to 1.49 percent and household utensils and appliances surged 1.26 percent.
However, post and telecommunications and education experienced slight increases to 0.02 percent and 0.16 percent, respectively.
In November, prices of gold and US dollars also experienced sharp increases. Gold went up by 8.85 percent while the US dollar surged by 4.48 percent. Therefore, changes in exchange rates have been affecting prices of domestic good made from imported materials, leading some goods increased prices in the beginning of November.
