Singers Nguyen Thao and Hoa Tran will also join the performance to present Christmas immortal classical pieces to music lovers.

Audiences will also thrill to hear masterpieces of Mozart, Chopin and Verdi, at the Hanoi Opera House on December 19.

Compositions will be performed by artists from the Vietnam National Academy of Music, such as pianists Ngo Phuong Vi, Tran Thai Linh, Lam Duc Chinh, Tu My, Huy Phuong, Trinh Huong, Duc Chinh, Tuan Nam; bassist Minh Pha and Hung Cuong; violinist Tran Quang Duy;   flute artist Le Thu Huong; guitarist Anh Tung and Trung Kien; tenor Trong Tan and soprano Lan Anh.

Tickets are priced at VND150,000-VNDVND700,000.

Meanwhile, festive compositions of Johann Sebastian Bach, Händel and Humperdinck and popular Christmas carols will resound in the courtyard of the Goethe-Institute bringing the magic of Christmas to Hanoi on December 10.

Under the baton of conductor Graham Sutcliffe, singers of the International Choir and young musicians in Hanoi will drive music lovers into a contemplative mood, with baked treats and mulled wine.
