Ambassador Do Ba Khoa said the award is recognition from the Vietnamese Government to Gsiant’s work “Talking with Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam”.

He thanked the host country’s press and communication agencies for working with the Brazilian Government and Vietnamese Embassy to promote Vietnam and bring the two cultures closer together.

Gsiant expressed his honour at receiving the prize and said it is an important milestone in his career.

He promised to create more work illustrating his love for Vietnam and its people.

At the ceremony, Brazilian reporters asked the Vietnamese Embassy to provide more documents on Vietnam, including the National External Information Service Awards 2017.

The National External Information Service Awards were launched in Vietnam in 2014, aiming to update domestic readers on the latest developments in the region and around the world, as well as connecting Vietnam with the international community and overseas Vietnamese.
