The Saigon Tax Trade Center’s board of managers has given traders with a lot of assistance before the center is scheduled to close down in October, said the center director Tran Thuy Lien.

The traders are helped conduct a promotional program to clear their stocks and exempt from paying their rent in August and September, she said.
Besides, they can contact with Satramart Supermarket in 3 Thang 2 (February 3) Street and Center Mall C6 in Pham Hung Street to run their business there.
The board also proposed related sides to give priorities for the traders to operate in the new center after it is built.
‘We will do our best to give the traders with maximum assistance,’ Lien said.
Saigon Giai Phong reporter was present at the center on Wednesday afternoon and found shoppers streaming there to buy items with 50 percent discounts.
They had to line up for one to two hours to do the shopping. Each person had only ten minute shopping before moving to the cashier.
The Saigon Tax Trade Center will officially close down from October 1 to hand over the space for construction of Ben Thanh-Suoi Tien metro route.
