The Vietnam Fatherland Front in Ho Chi Minh City, the Communist Youth Union and the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs yesterday co-organized a festival “Ket noi yeu thuong- Cung cac em vui he” ( Connecting love – Enjoy summer vacation with kids)
500 disadvantaged children from social sponsoring centers and in the community partook in the festival at the Sport and Education Center for Student Vietopia in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 7.
Deputy Chairwoman of the municipal People’s Committee Nguyen Thi Thu visited the center and presented gifts to these kids.
Besides, the city's seven groups offered gifts to 1,430 kids who reside in social sponsoring centers.
