The event is expected to attract more than 40 businesses specializing in producing denims, accessories and textiles from Vietnam and 10 countries and territories including India, Switzerland, Thailand, the Republic of Korea, China, Hong Kong (China), Pakistan and Singapore.
The show will bring latest trends and advances in denim industry, likely top stitched, two tone denim, laser art, mother earth and we rock.
The event will also include seminars and discussions with the participation of international experts.
According to Vice Secretary of VITAS Nguyen Thi Tuyet Mai, Vietnam has signed and will sign 16 free trade agreements (FTA), including the European Union (EU) - Vietnam FTA and the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) which are expected to create opportunities for the textile and apparel industry.
In 2017, Vietnam's textile and garment industry earned US$31.1 billion from exports and is expected to reach more than US$34 billion in 2018, said the VITAS.
