The project, which is part of Vietnam seaport development strategy, has total investment capital of over VND 1trillion.
Its construction covers an area of 60,000 meters s.q including 2 piers.
After putting into use, Tien Sa port totals 1,700m piers which can receive cargo ships with 70,000 WT capacity, 4,000 TEU container ships, cruise ships and 12 million tons of cargo per year.
The second phase expansion helps Tien Sa Port to be the largest-scale container port in the central region.
