The 2016 Vietnam-Korea Cartoon Festival will be held in Hanoi from June 3-5.

Free screenings of cartoons, including Soc nau dang yeu (Lovely bworn squirrel), Cloud Bread Tobot, Binh yen o tren lung (Peace on the back), Cloud Bread, Bong hoa mat troi (Sun flower), Cau chuyen nong trai (Farm’s story), Tobot, Watch car, The Aiport Diary, Tayo the Little Bus, will take place at Au Co Art Center in Dong Da District.
The film show also includes exchanges on promoting animation movies between Korean cartoon filmmakers and local film lovers.
The event aims to give audiences a chance to express their love for animation films as well as boost the cultural exchanges and cooperation between the two countries.
As a gift for children on the International Children’s Day (on June 1), the event is co-organized by the Korean Cultural Centre in Vietnam, Cinematography Department under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and Vietnam National Cartoon Company.
