A writing contest titled ‘Proud of Vietnam’ for children from age 7-15 has been launched throughout the country.

Contestants will take part in a multiple choice test featuring nine questions for writing an essay of maximum 1,000 words. The subject will focus on society, culture, history, science and Vietnamese products.
The competition is a chance for students to learn about national history, historical sites and characters, cultural heritage, landscapes and scientific research works. It will also encourage children’s love for the country.
The contest is being held by Vietnam Children Support & Development Center and TOSY Robotics Company.
The awards ceremony will take place in December 2014.
