The project is part of the “White Pigeon-the symbol of peace” that has been launched by Vietnam and Japan.
Many AO/Dioxin victims and foreign visitors attended the opening ceremony of the construction. The room is decorated with paintings of snow white doves flying free on a sky that was created by Japanese artist Okitani Koji.
The place is a venue for volunteers of the two countries to participate in exchanges, exhibitions on the friendship relation between Vietnam and various countries, peace education activities, added Director of the museum, Ms. Huynh Ngoc Van.
On the occasion of the inauguration, the organizer presented 30 gifts to AO/Dioxin victims in HCM City
