VND 65billion Raised for Disadvantaged Children

The Supporting Children Fund announced that they raised VND 65billion in 2013 reaching 125 percent of the target plan.

The fund supports 1.5 million disadvantaged children through programs such as For Kids Heart, For Kids Eyes, For Kids Smile in 2013.

The fund is aimed to support a project called “Supporting 1 Million Disadvantaged Children Nationwide” with VND 65 billion in 2014.

The fund is working in coordination with Operation Smile to organize a conference called “Deploying and Organizing Smile Operation and Carrying Out Fund Plan of 2014”.  It is aimed to sponsor operations for children with disabilities. This program was launched by the fund in 1997 and over 20,000 children have received free dental treatment.
