VN supports RCEP’s negotiations

The third Inter-sessional Ministerial Meeting of Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) was yesterday held at Vietnam National Convention Center in Hanoi.

15 RCEP countries participated in the event. 

Speaking at the conference, Minister of Industry and Trade Mr. Tran Tuan Anh stressed that the RCEP countries have made efforts to prompt and expand inter- regional economic integration based on cooperation relationship between ASEAN and six trading partners like Australia, China, South Korea, India, Japan and New Zealand.

Vietnam also supported the RCEP's negotiations in 2017.

There were total six ministerial meetings, 18 official negotiations and inter- sessional meetings during the RCEP. 

At these conferences, the leaders issued their ideas towards stable negotiation.
