Vietnam wins three gold, two silver medals at 2014 International Russian Olympic

Vietnam won three gold and two silver medals at the 2014 International Russian Olympic, announced by the Educational Testing and Quality Assessment Department and Ministry of Education and Training announced on June 12.

Three gold medals went to Nguyen Ba Tri, 11th grader from Hanoi – Amsterdam Specialized High School in Hanoi; Do Anh Tung, 12th grader from Nguyen Hue Specialized High School in Hanoi and Nguyen Thi Minh Nguyet, the 11th grader from Le Hong Phong Specialized High School in Nam Dinh province.

Two silver medals belonged to Nguyen Phuong Trang, the 11th grader from Phan Boi Chau Specialized High School in Nghe Anh province; Duong Hong Ngoc, the 12th grader from Nguyen Hue Specialized High school in Hanoi Capital.

Vietnamese student attended in the Noi Bai International Airport at 5:30am on June 13.

The eighth International Russian Olympiad took place from June 6-11 with the aim to the International Russian Language Day and the 215th birth anniversary of Russian poet Alexander Pushkin. The contest was launched since 1972.
