The four excellent Vietnamese winners are the Ministry of Finance with the prize ‘Outstanding User Organization’, the People’s Committee of the northern province of Quang Ninh with the prize ‘Outstanding Digital Government’, MISA Joint Stock Company with the prize ‘Outstanding ICT Company’, and FPT University with the prize ‘ICT Education’.
The awards is a true credit of the international community towards achievements that Vietnam has gained in the field of developing and implementing information technology lately.
The annual prestigious ASOCIO Awards is delivered to all individuals, organizations, and businesses with prominent accomplishments and great contributions to the development and application of information technology among all 24 members of ASOCIO.
The ASOCIO Awards is held within the framework of the ASOCIO Digital Summit 2018 in Tokyo from November 7 – 8. This year’s event is organized by the Japan Information Industry Association (JISA) themed ‘Connection’, attracted more than 800 representatives of various economies in the region. On this occasion, Associate Professor Dr. Truong Gia Binh, Chairman of VINASA, is re-selected as Vice Chairman of the ASOCIO.
Past Vietnamese winners of this Awards include former Prime Minister Phan Van Khai (2003); Associate Professor Dr. Truong Gia Binh, President of FPT Group (2013); FPT Software and Vietinbank (2016); FPT Information System Company, Masan Corporation, and Hanoi University of Science and Technology (2017).
