On the occasion of the Liberation Day (April 30) and May Day, workers in Vietnam can enjoy a five-day holiday and this creates a good chance for organisers of tours both inside and outside the country.
Fiditour company representatives said this year, they will mainly focus on destinations at sea and on islands, mostly in Phu Quoc, Nha Trang, Da Nang and Ha Long. Their products will include the sites of famous films in the central coastal provinces of Phu Yen and Binh Dinh. Meanwhile, outbound tours to neighbouring countries like Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia and China have been almost fully booked.
Representatives of the Vietravel company said they will offer tours to newly found destinations which have become very popular among tourists like those in Quang Ninh province in the north and Dak Nong province in the Central Highlands. As for outbound tours, they will offer those using chartered flights to Ibaraki and Fukushima of Japan, the Netherlands and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.
For its part, the Saigontourist company will offer tours valued at less than VND10 million (about $450 ), aiming at middle income earners. The prices of their tours this time will be about 7 – 10 percent higher than those of other days while those of outbound tours will remain almost unchanged
