Cautiousness covered the Vietnam’s stock market, sending the benchmark to below 570 points in the trading session on December 7.
The VN-Index decreased 8 points, or 1.4 percent, to close at 563.62 points with 83 winners, 133 losers while 93 stocks remained unchanged. Trading volume reached 78 million shares worth nearly VND1.38 trillion.
The VN30-Index declined 7.62 points, or 1.31 percent, to 606.93 points. Trading volume nearly touched 29 million shares worth more than VND608 billion.
Meanwhile, the HNX-Index of the smaller bourse in the north slid 0.42 points, or 0.52 percent, to finish at 79.72 points. Of the index, 77 stocks advanced, 95 retreated, while 202 were unmoved. Trading volume nearly hit 37 million shares worth more than VND449 billion.
The HNX30-Index also lost 1.64 points, or 1.13 percent, to 142.96 points. Trading volume was at 10 million shares worth nearly VND111 billion.
The UpCoM-Index went down 0.79 points to 48.53 points. Trading volume was nearly at 2.5 million shares worth VND25.6 billion.
