The Prime Minister has recently agreed to a program to develop agriculture through high technology by 2020.
Accordingly, by 2015 the country should set up at least 80 enterprises in the field of agriculture who will apply high technologies in key economic districts by 2015. The first phase of the program will have 200 agricultural enterprises by 2020.
The program aims to push the application and growth of technology in agriculture, contributing to the development of this sector.
The program is expected to bring effectiveness and greater competition in agriculture, with growth rate of more than 3.5 percent. The country will strive to use advanced and high technologies in agriculture to create two new seeds and breed animals that will be able to endure climate change in future.
