President of Harvard University visits HCMC National University

President of the United States Harvard University Prof. Drew Gilpin Faust yesterday visited and worked with the leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City National University, and had a presentation with lecturers and students of Ho Chi Minh City Social Sciences and Humanities University.

President of the United States Harvard University Prof. Drew Gilpin Faust yesterday visited and worked with the leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City National University, and had a presentation with lecturers and students of Ho Chi Minh City Social Sciences and Humanities University.

At the presentation, Prof. Drew Gilpin Faust reviewed the American Civil War from April 1861 to April 1865. Especially, she mentioned the loss of human and property during the American war in Vietnam, from which she issued a message of “Never let war come and let’s fight for peace”.

Prof. Drew Gilpin Faust is the 28th principle of the United States Harvard University who had ever received university degree, honor certificate on history of Bryn Mawr College in 1968, master degree in 1971 and PhD degree in 1975 of Pennsylvania University.
