Ministry urges transport operators to cut fares down

The Ministry of Finance has sent a document to the Ministry of Transport and people’s committees asking to continue decreasing transportation fares following gasoline price cuts.

The Ministry of Finance has sent a document to the Ministry of Transport and people’s committees asking to continue decreasing transportation fares following gasoline price cuts.

Though there was a significant reduction of petrol prices, transport businesses have not cut down its fares. Accordingly the Ministry of Finance asked the Ministry of Transport and people’s committees to closer control and issue guidelines, requiring transport operators to cut fares.

Those businesses which have not lower transport fares should be impose harsh penalties on. Those who had reduced the transport fares are asked to continue cutting down.
