Medical check-up, presents given to poor residents, ethnic minority people in Can Gio, Binh Phuoc

350 people in Can Gio District, Ho Chi Minh City and the southern province of Binh Phuoc have received free health check up, medicine and presents.

350 people in Can Gio District, Ho Chi Minh City and the southern province of Binh Phuoc have received free health check up, medicine and presents.

The Red Cross Society in Ho Chi Minh City, South Korean Dail Social Welfare Foundation and Management Board of Protective Forest in Can Gio District provided medical examination and medication to 200 inhabitants in the district.

Additionally, the mission team visited and gave 200 gifts worth VND 250million (US$ 11,286) totally including essential commodities and medicine cabinets to 134 families who are protecting the forest.

The Red Cross Society in Binh Phuoc Province and medical workers from Medicine Center in Bu Dop District provided free examination and drugs to 350 poor inhabitants in Hung Phuoc Commune.

On the occasion, the Red Cross Society and a charity group in Tan Phu District in HCMC gave 400 presents to disadvantaged ethnic minority people with total expenditure of VND60 million (US$2,708)
